• The term CORONA came from the family of virus, as its so new that the scientists not had the time to think about the name it & hence they named it as NOVEL CORONA VIRUS
• The normal sneezing and the cough also occurs due the virus.(FACT)
• The virus has been reported firstly in the city of WUHAN (CHINA) from where it spread all over the world.
•   It looks similar like these -
• The virus is named as SARS COV-2  & the disease spread due to this virus is named as COVID-19.
• The virus spreads due to the certain animals, in this case the animal is a bAT.(चमगादड़) Called in hindi.

• As per the analysis made on the Chinese cases on the  COVID-19 is that the In the 89% cases - fever is must in the victims, in 68% of the dry coughs,  in 18% of the breathing problems & 14% of the sore throat and the headache is been noticed in the COVID-19 patients.

• It means that if you have dry coughs, sore throat, and a problem in breathing, then there are chances that you have COVID-19.
• Then how to differentiate between a COVID-19 and a normal fever is the  RUNNY NOSE. Because in cases of COVID-19, less than 5% of cases have a runny nose, and therefore if you have a runny nose then RELAX as you have just a fever.

• As the disease takes around a  5-6 days period to show its symptoms.

• Death is high among those whose immune system is not strong to fight to these viruses, as the old age peoples have a weak immune system, compare to the young ones.

• Hence in order to protect the Indian community from the virus spreading, the #LOCKDOWN has been done since the 23rd of March by the PM of India Mr. Modi.

• Social DIstancing & to be at home is the only solution to eliminate the corona spread from India.

• As the lockdown is made about three weeks up to 15 of April, but on 11 of April Maharashtra CM - Mr. Thackrey extended the lockdown up to 30th of April, Due to an increase in the patients in the Maharashtra state.

• As following Maharashtra, Bihar, UP, Orissa, Delhi also extended their lockdown, due to the excessive spread of the COVID -19.

• As the lockdown shuts all the places where the crowd gather excepts the emergency services jobs and places are been made open.
• Lockdown has shut all the airport services, schools colleges, private sectors, public places have been closed.
• Compare to the other countries, like China, Spain, Italy, or Germany, India has fewer victims affected or died by the virus.

• As the lockdown decision have been made very early which led to the less spread of the virus in India.
• The vaccine for this virus COVID-19 has not been made further and therefore the best way to make one safe is to be Home Quarantine.

• The peoples like DOCTORS, POLICE, SANITARY WORKERS, are working for us 24/7 for us to make us safe, and hence it's our duty to be at home and help our country.

• On the 14th of April, Pm of India Mr. Modi has extended the lockdown at  10:am, as in India the COVID -19 cases have crossed the 10,000 no, death toll rises to 339. The number has just doubled in 6 days. Hence up to the 3rd of May, the lockdown has extended.

• National lockdown has been extended up to a 3rd May, in which railways as well airways will be closed.
• On 20th April, by checking the conditions of the states, lockdown in certain  area will be removed slowly.

• The corona patients has been increasing over a lot in India, especially in Maharashtra state.
• COVID-19 Has been spread more up to 3rd May.

Globally, as of May 2, there have been 32,72,202 confirmed cases, including 2,30,104 deaths, reported to WHO. ALL WORLD 

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India crossed 40,000 on Sunday ( 3rd May), making it one among 16 countries that have crossed that figure. With 83 more deaths since Saturday, a single-day high, the death toll nationwide has gone up to 1,306.

India currently has 28,070 active cases and 10,886 patients have recovered, according to the latest numbers available on the Health Ministry website. Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi led with the maximum number of cases.

Data from State Health Departments put the nationwide death toll at 1,389. The number of positive cases overall stood at 42,496, with 29, 318 active ones. Mumbai reported 441 new cases and 21 deaths, taking the total number of cases to 8,613 and fatalities to 343, a BMC official said.

• Therefore the government has decided to extend the lockdown up to the 17th of May.
• Due to the lower of the finance of the governmental bodies, they decided to rise the financial capability by opening the liquor shops.
• It helped the state as well as the central government, but the peoples doesn't follow the self-distancing rules, which led to the crowd formation.

• The governments also led an increase in the liquor price, to lower the crowd as well.
• As of the 14th of May by the order of the supreme court, the central government has decided to have an online sale on the liquors.
• The Maharashtra government also follows the order of the supreme government to sell the liquor online, In order to control the crowd and follow the self-distancing.

• The Indian government also knew that extending lockdown is the only option to stop the pandemic rise.
• Therefore on 12 May onwards Pm Modi addressing the nation at 8 pm.
• Since after the agreement, PM Modi announced the special economic package of Rs 20,000 lakh crore for the laborers, farmers, honest taxpayers, cottage industry.
• As its equivalent to 20% of the total Indias's GDP.

The Indian confirm cases at 13th May 2020

UPDATE ON 24th May-

• The total number of infections in India rose to 1,38,845 on Monday. Of these 77,103 are active, while 57,720 patients have been discharged. The death toll stands at 4021. 
• Data from Johns Hopkins University show that the total number of cases in India has surpassed that of Iran (with 1,35,701 confirmed infections).
•  India now has the 10th highest number of confirmed cases worldwide. 
• Globally, over 5.4 million people have been infected with the novel coronavirus, including 3.4 lakh deaths.

The new lockdown has extended from 1st June to the 30th of June.
